It features low thermal conductivity. Its core function is to reduce heat transfer, enhance the thermal insulation performance of the glass, and simultaneously suppress condensation phenomena.
Structure and Materials
The stainless steel composite warm edge spacer consists of a three-layer structure:
- Stainless Steel Layer: Provides structural strength and corrosion resistance .
- Composite Material Layer (e.g., PVC, AGR, PP): Reduces the thermal conductivity and forms a thermal break structure .
- Cavity Design: Filled with desiccant and separates the glass panes .
- Outstanding Thermal Insulation: Its thermal conductivity is only about 1/10 that of traditional aluminum spacers, effectively weakening the thermal bridge effect .
- Anti-Condensation Effect: Reduces the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the glass, lowering the risk of condensation in autumn and winter .
- Processing Flexibility: The cold and hot co-extrusion process allows it to meet complex bending requirements .
